Through genuine craftmanship and good fly tying materials, Midgar produces unique fishing flies for a variety of species in cold- and tropical water. We are very strong on flies for atlantic salmon, sea-trout and brown trout, as well as for bonefish, redfish, GT and tarpon!

From our selection of fly tying materials you can tie flies for trout, saltwater, atlantic salmon and steelhead. Apart from having the basics in threads, tinsels, flosses, vises and hooks, we are known for having the best selection of natural hair in natural and dyed colors. From Midgar Templehair, Midgar Foxhair, Midgar Pig Bristles and our general selection of squirrel, deer, bucktail, we have what is needed. If you are looking for a particular shade, let us know. We dye all the hair ourselves, and can therefore match colors of hair with hackles, in over 45 different colors!
